Hemisphere Security LLC

Hi there - we’re the leadership team of Hemisphere Security LLC.  Our team is made up of Hugo Pimienta, Marsha Frenkel, Matt Reville, Johnson Tran, James Connors, Theresa Wong, and Jinhyo Lee.  Together, we have developed this company because we found that current laptop security solutions lack either security or portability.  Starting in a small team room on the 3rd floor of Boston University’s School of Management, we’ve built this company in our own image - intelligent, trustworthy, and responsible.

So what makes Hemisphere stand out?  Well, our newest product, the Portable Laptop Lock, is a revolution in the world of laptop accessories that allows you to bring your portable computing device (read laptop) where you want, when you want and not have to worry about whether it’s going to walk off without you.  Security is a real problem.  Whether you’re in a library, classroom, coffee shop, airport, hotel, subway, or even your own home, theft is a real threat.  You need to keep your possessions safe.

How much is your laptop worth to you?  Perhaps it cost you less than a thousand dollars or maybe two or three.  The real question is how much is the content on your computer worth to you, or more importantly, to someone else?  What of your pictures, music, movies, tax documents, passwords, credit cards, reservations, or other private information?  The potential damages or losses could be in the thousands.  You owe it to yourself to keep your computer safe.
